Tuet, that is the first Deep Surface created by Arpa, has been honored with the esteemed Red Dot Award for Product Design 2024. Praised by the Red Dot jury, Tuet introduces a remarkable depth to spatial perception, infusing living spaces with a blend of natural allure and dynamic ambiance.
Introduced in 2023, this ribbed surface draws inspiration from the reedbeds along the Tanaro river in Piedmont. Tuet, available in two wood decors, offers a dynamic tactile encounter, blending a gentle touch with a delightful wavy sensation.
The award ceremony is set for June 24 at the Red Dot Design Museum in Essen, Germany. This marks Deep Surface’s second acknowledgment, following its previous win of the “High Product Quality” Interzum Award in 2023.
The Red Dot Award: Product Design is an international design competition started in 1955. Winners are selected by a 39 member-jury following the motto “In search of good design and innovation.” Arpa’s decorative high pressure laminates are produced in the 150,000-square-metre plant in Bra, in the Piedmont area of Italy, and are expressions of a lively and original “Made in Italy” creativity.
More than 60 years of investment in research, advanced technology and personnel training have allowed the company to achieve a position of primary importance and a reputation for great reliability in international markets; a trade characterised by competent staff, varied and excellent offerings, production flexibility and fast service.
Aware of its social responsibility to all its stakeholders, and the broader social and environmental context it operates in, Arpa has since 2006 had a Code of Ethics that regulates standard procedures and attests to its values of integrity, transparency and responsibility.
