Composite Prime, a leading name in the UK composite decking market, has announced a significant strategic partnership with US-based The AZEK Company. This collaboration aims to target substantial growth and expansion within the UK’s booming composite decking sector. The partnership combines Composite Prime’s robust market presence and The AZEK Company’s innovative expertise, setting the stage for accelerated development and enhanced offerings in the UK market.

The company says this collaboration will combine Composite Prime’s market presence with the strong focus on innovative technologies and substantial resources of The AZEK Company and its brands, which include AZEK, TimberTech, Ultralox and Struxures.

“The Composite Prime partnership with The AZEK Company marks a new era for outdoor living spaces in the UK,” said Dom Harrison, Managing Director of Composite Prime. “Joining forces with The AZEK Company and TimberTech will enhance our product offering, providing our customers with a broader range of solutions that deliver superior performance and beautiful aesthetics.”

AZEK’s commitment to sustainability is a cornerstone of this partnership. As a vertically-integrated recycler of PVC in the USA, and a recent Winner in Good Housekeeping’s 2023 Sustainable Innovation Awards for its advanced capped PVC polymer decking lines, this initiative aligns with both companies’ dedication to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles. The AZEK Company aspires to use one billion lbs of waste and scrap by the end of 2026.

“AZEK/Timbertech is thrilled to join forces with Composite Prime, marking a significant step forward in our mission to lead the UK market with high-quality composite decking solutions,” said Robert Di Pangrazio, Senior Vice President of Sales at The AZEK Company. “This partnership is a testament to our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability, and is poised to capture the growing demand in the UK market. Together, we are setting the stage for a greener, more durable future in outdoor living spaces.”
