On June 6, 2024, the General Meeting of DROMA, the Association of Manufacturers of Woodworking Machines, Devices, and Tools, convened to elect new officials for the term spanning 2024 to 2028.
Andrzej Półrolniczak, the director of the DREMA Fair, reclaimed the presidency of the association. Joining him on the management board are: Mieczysław Fluder, Jacek Gawroński, Jan Gondek, Tomasz Kobierski, Stefan Kołakowski, Tomasz Nieciąg, Zbigniew Oskwarek, and Dariusz Prochera.
The audit committee comprises Marcin Barc, Tomasz Bartkowiak, and Jerzy Gaudecki.
During the meeting, members of the DROMA Association deliberated on the current market landscape and outlined the association’s initiatives to bolster the Polish woodworking machinery and tools industry.
Established in 1992, the DROMA Association of Woodworking Machinery, Devices, and Tools unites individuals and companies within the machine tool and woodworking tool sectors. It serves as a central hub for professionals and encompasses a significant portion of Poland’s woodworking machinery and tool manufacturers.
The idea of establishing the DROMA Association was born in 1991 on the initiative of Andrzej Półrolniczak. The supporting members of the DROMA Association are 22 companies and institutions related to the machine tool and woodworking industry. Supporting members include companies with a long tradition in the production of woodworking machines that started their business in the second half of the 19th century, as well as companies that developed their businesses during the development of the Association. The Polish industry of machine tools and woodworking tools has a complete and comprehensive offer for companies in the forestry, wood and furniture sectors.
