IPCO has developed a range of patented service tools that enable its engineers to carry out repairs to the highest standards. Among these is the QuickDisc Plus 500, used for removing the damaged area of a belt and cutting out a replacement disc from the spare section that is supplied with every belt for this very purpose.
This self-contained cutting and welding system enables repairs to damaged areas on steel press belts up to 480 mm in diameter. Another important tool is the Shotpeener Pro. This is used to repair deformities that can appear in a press belt over time and can be employed without stopping production or dismantling the belt.
The tool features multiple technical innovations that significantly boost its performance, delivering results faster and enhancing flattening capacity by 30%. This allows for the restoration of belts that might have once been considered irreparable. IPCO offers two primary steel grades for their press belts: IPCO 1100C, a carbon steel grade ideal for single-opening presses, and IPCO 1650SM, a stainless steel grade designed for double-belt presses.
IPCO’s production facility in Sandviken, Sweden, boasts certifications for ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001:2018, ensuring top-tier quality, environmental management, and occupational health and safety standards. This state-of-the-art facility is capable of manufacturing press belts to virtually any length, with widths up to 620 mm and thicknesses ranging from 1.2 to 3.5 mm.
